California, show your teeth

If you haven't heard the new single by the Chili Peppers go download the song - Dani California. Then, if you like it, buy the album Stadium Arcadium, this Tuesday May 2nd :)

Seriously I haven't been able to get the song out of my head, I keep listening to it at home and at work and sometimes on the commute to and from.

What else am I listening to now?

Pearl Jam - worldwide suicide
Bon Jovi (no surprise here)
Billy Talent - Devil in a Midnight Mass (this song is solid)

and to top things off, a classic.. Triumph by Wu Tang. All I need is a sub in the civic to do those music drivebys at mall parking lots.

My recent indulgence in these songs also made me realize i dont have nearly enough music on my work laptop, so rather than transfer some files from my desktop, I decided to do a search to find some songs to download. I thought - how about getting the 100 best songs on my computer? Not a bad idea! So i searched something like "Greatest 100 songs of all time" And out popped an article from Rolling stone. Now some of the songs were good, deserved to be there... songs like Thriller by MJ, One by U2, Shook me All night Long by AC/DC.. these are classics. but then they kind of went south and included bullshit like "Baby one more time" - Not cool. I think there was also some

But anyways, of the list, I decided to download a few.

Bon Jovi - livin on a prayer
AC DC - shook me all night long
George Michael - Faith
Radiohead - Creep
Smashing Pumpkins - 1979
Smashing Pumpkins - Bullet with Butterfly Wings
Radiohead - Just
Michael Jackson - Billie Jean
Michael JAckson - Thriller
Alanis Morissette - Oughta Know
Eric Clapton - Layla (Acoustic)
Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Under the Bridge
