Oh Mel Gibson.. One of the lines he let fly in his drunken profanity-anti-semetic laced tirade this past weekend when he was arrested on a DUI charge.

"F- - - Jews. The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world," Gibson is quoted as saying, then asking the arresting officer, "Are you a Jew?"

He also had a tequila bottle in a paper bag in the back seat (classy) and said the sugar-tits comment in the title to a female officer at the police station.

I can understand being drunk and belligerent but he picked the wrong town to let the J-bomb fly.. I wonder how this will impact his career? Think of how many Jewish people are in Hollywood.. they run that place!! I know when Passion of the Christ came out he defended the movie strongly and said it was not anti-semetic and that he is against such views.. but a tirade like this screams something deep down. I mean, its one thing to make a "jews are cheap" joke when you're drunk.. but to say they are "responsible for all the world wars?" is a little much.

Already ABC has cancelled a Holocaust special Mel Gibson was supposed to do later this year, and Barbara Walters said she wont watch any of his movies.. bold shit. I think Mel will return to starring in films rather than directing them.. possibly a nice epic, a-la Braveheart, where he can flex his box office muscle and win back the media.

Unemployment ends August 8th

The summer of Karl will end August 8th, when I start working for big bad Dell . I'll be in corporate sales, ensuring Dell's marketshare grows in teh 200-500 employee size space. For those interested, I can also get a 15% discount on everything Dell. Ya I know, not that much eh? I guess its cause their prices are so low to begin wtih, they wont even sell to cost to their own employees.

OK Israel, let's calm the F down...

I am all for keeping the peace, and defending yourself when neccessary but I think Israel has taken it one step too far with today's bombings in Lebanon.

kidnapping 2 soldiers = bombing airport, fuel tankers, various parts of Beirut, surrounding Beirut with your gunships?? I think not.. i mean come on. This isn't going to win over many people in the mid-east, which is why I think it may be a way to get Iran in on the fight. Think about it.. Iran attacks Israel, now all of a sudden the Israel (read: the US) has a reason to attack Iran nuclear facilities. Hmmmmmmm...
